Primitive and sexist insults against Sanja Damjanović, published in the form of a caricature, are a message that women in Montenegro must not remain silent, the Forum of Women of the Bosniak Party announced.
"The dignity of women must come first. We are witnessing increasingly pronounced attacks on women from public and political life. This is unacceptable for the 21st century and an indication that we have not yet matured enough as a society. Hatred, insults and attacks on women from public life through of various caricatures, are a message to all women in Montenegro. Therefore, we call on the public of Montenegro to strongly condemn such phenomena, and we demand from the competent authorities to discover the persons behind such acts of inaction, prosecute them and adequately punish them," states the statement of the Women's Forum BS.
