The residents of the Tološi settlement in Podgorica complained again that they are still waiting for the development of planning documents for that part of the city, so that they can build.
The detailed urban plan "Tološi 2" and many others ceased to be valid in 2017, when the Constitutional Court declared them invalid, so it is necessary to carry out the entire procedure for its preparation again, and that work is now under the competence of the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and urbanism.
"The residents of this settlement have a problem, the old DUP was declared invalid and construction is prohibited until a new one is passed, and we have been waiting for the new one for more than two years. Personally, we are in a big problem, because we bought a plot of land with the intention of building a house, then they told us that the new DUP will be finished soon", said Jelena Anđelić.
However, as she pointed out, more than two years have passed since then, and her family is forced to pay rent much longer than planned. "When we contact the Ministry, the answer is always similar - that it is in the process and that it will be," Anđelić said.
Citizens and investors of many other settlements in Podgorica have the same problem, and this was pointed out by the city administration as well.
The residents of Tološ, who live in Ulica Milana Raičković, and who also belong to the aforementioned DUP, complained to the "News" earlier.
As the border of the DUP passes through the middle of the disputed street, in practice the situation is such that residents on one side of the street cannot build, while their neighbors across the street can.
The Ministry confirmed to "Vijesti" that the preparation of the DUP "Tološi 2" is underway, but they could not say when it will be completed.
