There are 110 people in the first five priority categories for vaccination against the coronavirus, according to the instructions published on the website. covidodgovor.me.
Citizens of Montenegro can already express their interest in immunization by filling out a questionnaire on that website, whereby the vaccination process is carried out in accordance with the priority groups defined by the National Strategy for the introduction, distribution and application of Kovid-19 vaccines.
The first group includes residents of homes for the elderly and institutions for the accommodation of persons with severe developmental disorders, as well as the staff who take care of them.
As stated in the instructions on the website covidodgovor.me, that category includes more than a thousand residents and over 600 employees in those institutions.
In the second category are health workers and other personnel in health institutions who work with SARS-CoV-2 infected patients and their contacts, as well as people over 80 years old.
"The second priority group for immunization includes about 1,8 thousand health workers who perform tasks of the highest risk, but also almost 21 thousand people over the age of 80," the instruction says.
It is stated that, in accordance with the National Strategy, the third priority group for immunization includes all persons aged 75 to 79, and there are more than 16 of them.
"Clinically very sensitive persons and persons aged 70 to 74 make up the fourth priority category, and there are almost 24 thousand of them in Montenegro," the instructions say.
As announced, the fifth priority category for vaccination includes all persons aged 65 to 69, of whom there are more than 36 thousand, and other employees in public and private health institutions, of whom there are more than nine thousand.
"The first five priority categories for immunization include about 110 people," the instructions state.
Other groups for vaccination against Kovid-19 include people aged 45 to 64, who fall into risk categories, members of vital services at the state and local level, and especially employees in educational institutions.
It is stated that the other categories include persons aged 18 to 44 who fall into risk categories, persons aged 60 to 64, other members of vital services at the state and local level and all persons aged 50 to 59.
The dynamics of vaccination of the population, as reported, depends on the procurement and delivery of vaccines.
"After the process of immunization of priority groups is completed, vaccination of the general population will begin." The vaccine is free for all residents of Montenegro, regardless of citizenship status," the instructions state.
As it is added, there is no special diagnostic procedure that should be carried out before receiving the vaccine, that is, it is not necessary to determine the possible presence of viruses or antibodies in the recipient.
Before vaccination, as it is pointed out, only a medical examination is required, which is carried out at the vaccination point itself.
"It is important to note that people who fill out the existing questionnaire on the website www.covidodgovor.me they will not have priority in the immunization process compared to members of the same category of population who have not yet registered," the instructions state.
As announced, the purpose of filling out the application is for citizens to help the health authorities in better organizing the immunization process.
"Based on the data from the questionnaire, the competent institutions will be able to assess the current level of interest of citizens in immunization at the municipal level, so they will better and faster prepare the next vaccination plan at the local level," the instructions conclude.
