The delegation of the Government of Montenegro is in Trebinje for the funeral of the retired bishop Atanasi of Zahum-Herzegovina.
The Montenegrin delegation is led by Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, and there are also Minister of Finance Milojko Spajić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vesna Bratić, as well as Secretary General of the Government, Božo Milonjić.
Bishop Atanasije Jevtić died in the Trebinje hospital as a result of the coronavirus.
Members of the Government decided to attend the mass meeting in the wake of harsh measures in Montenegro, which are the last attempt to improve the epidemiological situation in order to prevent the introduction of a lockdown.

On February 28, Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić violated the measures that apply in Montenegro in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus at the Saint Simeon Assembly in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica.
The Minister of Health, Jelena Borovinić Bojović, said the day after that that she would draw the attention of Krivokapić and members of the government to respect the measures.
On March 3, Krivokapić apologized to the citizens of Montenegro for not wearing a mask for a certain period.
In the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska, all public gatherings in groups of more than 50 people are prohibited.
The Diocese of Zahum-Herzegovina and Primorska asked everyone who will attend the services and funeral of Atanasi to strictly adhere to the anti-pandemic measures prescribed by the competent institutions.
Prince Filip Karađorđević, as well as representatives of local authorities, attend the liturgy and funeral.
