In anticipation of the World Day of Forests, Trees and Planting, which is celebrated on March 21, the Center for the Protection and Study of Birds (CZIP) announced the contest "A tree as a gift: Let's green our city" for residents of residential buildings in the territory of Podgorica. The goal of the competition is the greening of unkempt spaces.
The contest lasts until March 16, and interested parties should submit a completed application form, photos of the greening area that is the common property of the apartment owners, and the consent of the tenants' assembly.
In relation to the applications received, CZIP biologists will visit the most suitable locations and, in agreement with the tenants, will select adequate species and places for planting.
CZIP, as they announced, will donate a total of 30 autochthonous seedlings, so there will be an opportunity for greening in more locations, i.e. areas.
