As stated in the announcement, she indicated the sequence of events related to the reconstruction of that busy Podgorica street and pointed out that it has not been completed even today, although the original deadline for the reconstruction expired in September last year.
"The work of reconstruction was won by Vuković's favorite among companies - the company "Toškovići", to which the mayor of Podgorica is setting up numerous tenders, regardless of the fact that the owner of the company has been legally convicted of tax evasion, and that the company is missing deadlines. wherever it appears. Likewise, the works on 18. Jula street, originally planned for the beginning of May last year - with a deadline of 100 days, are still ongoing today, at the end of March 2021, and when they will be finished - no one knows it is not known", said Vuković-Sekulović.
According to the announcement, she said that, almost every day, Vuković's company did much more harm than good, that they carried out the work with too few obviously unskilled workers, which is why she can sue the capital every morning and collect additional penalties.
"For every 100 meters of completed work, the damage to the citizens was greater than the benefit of the new street. The works met the rains unsecured, so fecal sewage broke through in a dozen households, causing great material damage," added Vuković-Sekulovic.
She also said that Vuković's contractor left open unprotected holes in the road, into which citizens' cars fell, while he even managed to knock down a large stone fence on the edge of the street.
"Wherever the contractor went, the locals had to hire and pay their own craftsmen in order to repair the damage. And in addition to all that, the residents of Momišić were also left without water every day, without any announcements, due to the mentioned works, which is additionally made life miserable for everyone exposed to these epochal works," she said.
She states that the mayor of the Capital City, Ivan Vuković, assigned numerous other lucrative jobs to his close company "Tošković", such as the famous reconstruction of Veliša Mugoša street below Gorica and the reconstruction of Vuk Karadžića street.
"All this was also done in a disastrous way, while that company won even the biggest project in the last decade - the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), which is why KfW Bank and the NGO MANS reacted harshly with every right," she concluded. is Vuković-Sekulović.
