Vanja Kuč, the owner of a cottage near Trešnjevik on the Mateševo-Andrijevica road, has been unable to go either towards Kolašin or Andrijevica for more than 15 days due to the uncleared snow.
Kuch came to the holiday home after he was informed that it had been raided, he intended to stay for a few days, but his stay was extended unplanned and now, as he says, he was trapped under Komovo.
"My cottage is three kilometers from the tavern in Trešnjevik. For days without success I have been trying to get in touch with the company 'Strabag', which manages 'Crnagoraputem', and I tried in vain to get the Auto-moto association. All I had to do was call the relevant ministry. I can't believe this is happening. My supplies of food and wood are running low, now I heat the rooms with the branches I gather around. My car is stuck in the snow by the side of the road, and I am condemned to wait for them to have mercy and clear the road. What do I need a doctor for," he said.
As he says, the road was in the same condition last year at this time, when he was staying in the cottage because he was in self-isolation, as a contact of a person infected with the coronavirus.
The road over Trešnjevik, he explains, was very rarely cleaned during the past eight years.
"I cannot understand this state of affairs and this kind of carelessness. As someone who has stayed for several months in many European countries for work and who knows what my rights are, I cannot come to terms with this situation. I pay taxes to the state, I pay for vehicle registration, and for that I can't even get the minimum - a cleared road to my property. "I'm in the middle of the 'Komovi' Nature Park, there's talk about the tourism valorization of this area, and anyone who goes here needs to lose their head," explains Kuč.
According to him, during the past few weeks, only snowmobiles and two "pajero" jeeps, in which there were hunters, passed that part of the road.
It's summer, he explains differently.
"For years, it was only carried away from this part of the municipality. In the summer, when I'm at the cottage, I count the lumber trucks that pass this way. Sometimes there are 70 of them a day. On the other hand, in winter, the road is last on the list of importance of the authorities and those who use that road in the summer. I insist that someone in charge from Crnagoraput, i.e. Štrabag, call me on the number that I will leave for your editorial office. I demand that they explain this situation to me, and I will definitely look for them when I come to Podgorica", says Kuč.
He states that in addition to the uncleaned road, he has experienced many inconveniences so far. As he claims, he has been waiting five years for electricity to be brought to his cottage, and he was unable to resolve the disagreement with Elektroprivreda.
He has invested a lot in the holiday home, he explains, and in tidying up the property as well.
He says that the fact that "the closest container is in Mateševo, which is 14 kilometers away, says a lot about the attitude of the authorities towards the nature park".
In January, the residents of Kraljske Bar also talked about the lack of concern when it comes to the Regional road route from Mateševo to Andrijevica, via Trešnjevik.
Even then, the road was not cleared of snow, and the locals claim that during the winter months of the past years, the road was mostly impassable.
"Crnagoraput" did not respond to "Vijesti" on the phone numbers available to the editorial office yesterday.
That company did not respond to the questions sent by e-mail, which were related to the condition of the road from Mateševo to Andrijevica.
