The pharmacy institution "Montefarm" announced that "Fentagesic" transdermal patches will not be available to patients until the end of December, due to problems with the manufacturer.
Montefarm clarified that the patches are 5x25mcg/h, 5x50mcg/h and 5x100mcg/h.
"The public will be informed in a timely manner when the specified drug is available again," it was announced.
"Fentagesic" patches are used against severe pain in cancer patients, as well as those who need severe and long-term pain relief with opioids.
The manufacturer of this medicine is the Pliva company from Croatia.
