"Borovinić Bojović emphasized that, after only two months of intense bilateral agreements, the first contingents of vaccines against the coronavirus arrived in Montenegro, and that, thanks to rigorous measures and, above all, increased control of their application, the epidemiological situation in Montenegro is significantly more favorable in compared to the end of last year," the announcement states.
She pointed out that vaccination is being carried out at the planned pace and that mass vaccination will begin in the second half of April, when, as she says, a contingent of 200 Sinofarm vaccines will arrive, after which new doses of Sputnik V, Astra Zeneka and Pfizer vaccines will arrive.
"In a situation when the whole world is struggling with the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, solidarity and joint work are the most important. Therefore, Borovinić Bojović expressed her great gratitude to the Kingdom of Belgium and its citizens for the support and assistance they have provided and are providing to Montenegro," they said. are in the announcement.
"At today's meeting, it was assessed that the decrease in the number of patients and the mass vaccination against COVID-19 are very significant, first of all, for the preservation of the health and lives of citizens, but also for the sustainability of the economy and the success of the upcoming tourist season, which is extremely important for Montenegro." conclude from the Ministry of Health.
