"Prosecution to investigate how Mugoša sits in the Medical Chamber, falsely presents himself..."

The delegates of the assembly of the Medical Chamber invited the prosecution to enter the premises of the Medical Chamber and investigate how an unauthorized person, doctor Aleksandar Mugoša, sits in that association, falsely presents himself as the president and misleads the public, but also how he disposes of the seal, stamp and other documents, although the Assembly dismissed him on March 14.

They appealed to the Special State Prosecutor's Office to investigate "the express resolution of court decisions and the adoption of temporary measures, as well as the dismissal of criminal charges, all in favor of former President Aleksandar Mugoša, who was dismissed by the delegates of the Assembly and the same Chamber".

The President of the Assembly of the Chamber, Milena Popović Samardžić, said today at a press conference that it is not true that the court found that Mugoša was illegally dismissed and returned to the head of the Medical Chamber, but instead passed a temporary measure to return to the position of president.

"It is a function that is acquired thanks to the votes of the Assembly. The delegates dismissed him and the temporary measure is unenforceable. It states that he should return to the position of president of the Medical Chamber, but he does not have the majority of votes in the Assembly," said Popović Samardžić and clarified that have filed an objection and expect the temporary measure to be lifted.

She also pointed out that the position of president of the Medical Chamber is a function, not a job.

Popović Samardžić said that, if a temporary measure were to be followed, Mugoš, who sued the Medical Chamber, would become the plaintiff and the defendant, which, she believes, is a legal absurdity.

"If Dr. Mugoša thinks he has the majority, we invite him to run, to participate in the election race, but he refuses and obstructs the election process," said Popović Samardžić.

She called on the Ministry of Health and the Central Registry of Business Entities not to allow the registration of Aleksandar Mugoša as an authorized person of the Medical Chamber without a decision of the Assembly of the Medical Chamber.

The vice-president of the Assembly of the Medical Chamber, Snežana Ćorac, assessed that Judge Dijana Rovčanin grossly violated the law by ordering Mugoša to return to his post at the Chamber, even though his post is at the Clinical Center.

She also pointed out that "we can't help but wonder why prosecutor Ivana Vuksanović so expressly rejected two criminal charges against Mugoša, without taking a statement from the delegates".

A delegate in the Assembly of the Chamber, Žanka Cerović, called on Judge Rovčanin "to correct her decision while there is time, and everything is in the interest of doctors and patients, and not to work in the interest of Aleksandar Mugoša".

She said that as a professional with 35 years of experience, no one insulted her like Social Democratic Party (SDP) MP Draginja Vuksanović, who explained from the parliamentary bench what was good for the trade union and that for her Mugoša was still the president.

"The Chamber of Physicians will not be a training ground for political calculations. Judge Dijana Rovčanin makes an incredible decision for judicial practice by practically ordering the delegates of the Assembly to re-elect the dismissed president. She insults the intelligence of doctors and we ask her not to do it again. The delegates declared that they will not Aleksandar Mugoš for president, and according to the statute, it is a matter of their will and not the judgment of any judge. Therefore, she cannot in any way annul the decision of the delegates of the Assembly of the Chamber. Over 90 percent of the delegates chose Popović Samardžić as president," Cerović announced.
