This evening, more than a dozen citizens gathered in front of the Pljevlja Security Center protesting the appointment of Haris Đurđević as head of the Pljevlja Central Police Station.
Đurđević is accused of mistreating the participants of last year's litias and they consider him unworthy to perform the function of chief.
The protest ended a little before 20:18 p.m., but those gathered announced a new rally for tomorrow at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., saying that they will protest until Đurđević is dismissed.
Traffic was also blocked in the street where the Security Center is located.
Đurđević was appointed chief today by the collegium of the Police Administration.
Until now, he performed the duties of the head of the Unit for the Suppression of General and Economic Crime in the CB Pljevlja.
"The former head of the Pljevlja Security Center will be assigned to other jobs and tasks in the Police Directorate," the police stated earlier in a statement.
