Chauvinist messages from the protest in Pljevlja

At yesterday's protest in Pljevlje due to the appointment of Haris Đurđević as police chief, chauvinist songs were sung.

Part of the crowd sang "Serbian Sparta has risen, this will not be Turkey, Milo thieves, Milo thieves".

Rifat Fejzić, head of the Islamic Community in Montenegro, reacted to this by saying "if this in Pljevlja is not chauvinism, then I don't know what is".

The Collegium of the Police Administration appointed Đurđević as the new head of the Pljevlja Security Center yesterday.

Representatives of the Municipal Committees of New Sepka Democracy, Democratic People's Party (DNP), Democratic Montenegro and the Movement for Pljevlja, Milan Lekić, Milojica Tešović, Vladislav Bojović and Novica Stanić, called on the Police Directorate last night to withdraw the decision on the appointment of Đurđević.
