JP "Regionalni vodovod Crnogorsko primorje" awarded scholarships to the best students

The Public Enterprise (JP) "Regional Water Supply of the Montenegrin Coast" awarded the seven best students of the Economics and Technical Faculties of the University of Montenegro (UCG) one-year scholarships in the amount of 200 euros per month.

The Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Pavle Radulović, today handed over scholarships to students, who received them based on the competition announced by JP "Regional Waterworks of the Montenegrin Coast".

"For the second year in a row, the Regional Waterworks is announcing a competition for the awarding of scholarships of 200 euros per month to the best students, with the aim of investing in knowledge and providing concrete support to the highest quality students, intellectuals and future academic citizens who will direct their knowledge towards the further improvement of cultural, intellectual and economic environment in the country", it was announced from the Regional Waterworks.

After the scholarship awarding ceremony, Radulović pointed out that he was pleased that the Regional Waterworks continued to provide scholarships to the best students of the Montenegrin University.

"The Ministry continuously points out that there is no vision of development that does not rely on the strengthening of human resources. I would like to tell young people, with congratulations on their success so far and the scholarships they have won, to continue acquiring new knowledge and skills and that, only through lifelong learning and investing in themselves, can they provide a safe and promising future," Radulović announced.

As he said, young people, by constantly investing in education and, additionally developing acquired skills, contribute not only to personal development, but also to overall social progress and the success of organizations in which you will apply your knowledge and skills after completing your studies.

In this direction, as Radulović stated, the best students will always have the support of the Government and the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.

The director of the Regional Waterworks, Goran Jevrić, said that this is just one of the steps taken by the Regional Waterworks aimed at strengthening the company's personnel.

In that PE, as he said, they hope that other business entities in Montenegro will help successful young students who deserve attention.

"As a matter of curiosity, I would like to point out that this year some of the students who were awarded scholarships last year received scholarships again, which only shows that these are really the best students and that our rules for awarding scholarships are clear and transparent," said Jevrić.

He announced that by the New Year, he will announce a competition for the engagement of up to ten people, with or without previous work experience, but with a university education, who will deal with activities in the field of development projects of the Regional Water Supply - from the water factory to the beginning of the construction of the second phase of the regional water supply system.

"Only with the strengthening of personnel capacities, we can expect the successful realization of these development projects", said Jevrić.

Scholarships were awarded to Mihailo Micev (success index ten) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Ivana Banićević (9,96) from the Faculty of Metallurgy - Technology, Nikola Radanović (9,94) and Dejan Drašković (9,36) from the Faculty of Economics.

Scholarships were also awarded to Luka Martinović (success index 9,22) and Mićo Kontić (9,14) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and Jelena Starčević (9,06) from the Faculty of Economics.

On behalf of the scholarship winners, Micev and Starčević thanked the Regional Waterworks as a company that recognized their efforts and valued their success during their studies so far.

As they said, the company thereby set an example for other economic entities in Montenegro that successful future young personnel should be valued and given incentives to continuously improve their knowledge and skills because, in the end, the world rests on young people.
