The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Vesna Bratić, today, at the University Center in Podgorica, received the first dose of the Sinofarm vaccine against the coronavirus, thus supporting the mass vaccination campaign, the ministry she heads announced.
Bratić, who was also accompanied by the rector of the University of Montenegro (UCG), Vladimir Božović, said that she trusted the institutions and supported health workers.
"I am getting vaccinated because I believe that immunization is the only way to defeat COVID-19, to preserve public health, and then the economy of our country," said Bratić, emphasizing that situations like this remind us of the preciousness of every human life and how important it is not to we falter in the fight to preserve the health of the whole society.
The statement added that Bratić appealed to all citizens to respond to the call for vaccination in as large a number as possible, so that Montenegro, with the joint contribution of the entire society, would defeat the pandemic and return to normal life.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports also said that Božović, who was also vaccinated with the Sinofarm vaccine, supported Bratić's appeal and the vaccination campaign.
Božović greeted everyone involved in the process of mass immunization.
"In this sense, I believe that the influence of the University of Montenegro is significant. Therefore, I appeal to all members of the university community, teachers and students, to get vaccinated as soon as possible because it is the only way to return to normal life. It is in the interest of all of us," he said. is Božović.
Bratić is the third member of the Government who has received the vaccine against the coronavirus so far.
Before her, the Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and the Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović received vaccines.
