The construction inspection in Kraljski Bari stopped the inspection supervision at the construction sites of three small hydropower plants (MHP) in that village.
As the locals who do not allow the continuation of the work on MHE told "Vijesta", Inspector Lakušić reacted to the locals' insistence that representatives of the concessionaire show the construction site documentation.
"Inspector Lakušić interpreted this as interference and stopped the surveillance. We are very offended and disappointed by this action," said the president of the local community (MZ) Milovan Labović.
He says that the building inspection was not obstructed either physically or verbally.
Director of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs Ljubiša Konatar could not tell Vijesti more details about that event.
He claims that he has not yet received information from the field inspector.
The company Dekar energy intends to build a HPP on the Crnja, Cestogaz and Ljubaštica watercourses in that village.
Locals have been defending the construction since the middle of last year, calling on the authorities to cancel the contracts and cancel the construction permits.
They also demand the return, as they claim, of the devastated area to its original state. The MHE works are carried out by the company Igma grand.
