The President of the Municipality of Berane, Tihomir Bogavac (SNP), sent his congratulations to the former bishop of Budamlje-Nikšić, Joaniki, on the occasion of his election as the new metropolitan of Montenegrin-Limitor.

"May it serve us for joy, for a better tomorrow and for the gathering of all Orthodox, but also of all other faiths and nations with whom we coexist in these areas," Bogavac said.

At the same time, he sent his congratulations to the newly elected Bishop Metodije of Budimlja-Nišić and welcomed him to Berane, where the seat of this eparchy is located.
