Veselin Drljević is the new president of the Council of Radio Television of Montenegro.
He was elected at today's session of the RTCG Council.
He received seven votes, and one ballot was not filled. Eight Council members voted, out of nine, because Bojan Baća was absent.
Today is the continuation of the constitutive session of the Council, which began yesterday, after the President of the Parliament of Montenegro decided by lot the duration of the mandate of the members of that body.
The candidates for the presidency of the Council were Marijana Camović Veličković, Veselin Drljević and Filip Lazović.
On the agenda of today's session is the initiation of the procedure for the election of a new general director of RTCG.
The Council started the discussion on starting the procedure for the selection of a new general director of RTCG, and as explained by Drljević, they should announce a competition for the selection of the head of the media company.
The council authorized the RTCG legal service to prepare the text of the competition for the election of the general director, and it was agreed that it would last thirty days.
The Council of the RTCG made a decision to announce a competition for the election of the general director. The competition, as decided, is to be published in all print media and on the website of the Employment Agency, and will last for thirty days.
