The Vice-President of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and former Minister of Science, Sanja Damjanović, referred to the Government's announcement, in which it is stated that the Decision on the establishment of the Council for Innovation and Smart Specialization was adopted at the June 17 session, saying that this body was constituted August 1, 2019.
She said that "the government writes like a bad student without ideas and solutions".
"The first session of the Council, chaired by Prime Minister Duško Marković, was held in December 2019, exactly on the day when this development strategy was given the official green light by the European Commission," announced Damjanović.
He emphasizes that Montenegro is still the only one among the countries that are candidates for EU membership that has adopted this strategy.
"Instead of working on the implementation of the Action Plan, and creating an Action Plan for 2021, this truncated Government of Ignorance is forming an already existing Council," concluded Damjanović.
