The government department headed by Vesna Bratić said that "due to incorrect and misplaced constructions, which occasionally appear from different addresses, and which, in the public, create harmful and unnecessary confusion regarding the implementation of the General Law on Education, MPNKS wants to point out that it is obliged to respect all the laws of the state of Montenegro, including this law".
"Consequently, the Ministry is resolved, and unwavering in that, to undertake all activities necessary to ensure that the norms of all laws are respected, and dealing with calculations, spins and incorrect twisting of facts is not the manner of MPNKS, nor should it be the manner of any entity Looking at the excerpt from the conversation between representatives of the Education Union and MPNKS, which refers to activities that are not the competence of the line Ministry, which in this case is the amendment of the Law, while the mention of at least some parts of the agreement made on planned action in the future is avoided, the question arises whether the long-term goal of the Education Union is in agreement with the general and real needs of educators," said the MPNKS.
They also state that if there is an opinion of the Trade Union that the educational community should not participate in the selection of candidates for acting directors of the institutions in which they are employed, the MPNKS is ready to consider such a suggestion for successful cooperation, however much it may be in conflict with basic democratic principles.
"Of course, regardless of the circumstances, the Ministry remains committed to its mission of creating a better and fairer educational system in which expertise, knowledge, competences, ability, commitment to work and readiness for the challenges of a new, democratic society will be valued," said the MPNKS.
