The Post of Montenegro is not the sender of messages in which users are required to pay 2,99 euros in the name of package delivery, the company announced.
They said that several citizens sent them photos proving that by clicking on the link in the message with the above content, the user receives a request to enter data from a bank card and the logo of the Post of Montenegro, but that at the moment when the complaint reaches their services, the link is not active.
"Unfortunately, the current sms message that is not communicated by the Post, and it is intended to create such an impression, is just one in a series of online manipulations that have the resources of the Post as their subject. Colleagues from the ICT sector have also noticed several attempts to attack the communication infrastructure of the Post of Montenegro in the past months , that is, e-mail and telephone lines," the announcement states.
They pointed out that any attempt to compromise communication channels, as well as unauthorized use of the Company's logo, will be checked in detail and reported to the competent authorities.
