Kujović: Criminal charges against those responsible, if the administrative inspection "sees through their fingers" again

Zoran Kujović, the former head of the Communal Police in Kolašin announced that he called the administrative inspection "to determine all the shortcomings in the work of the President of the Municipality Milosav Bulatović".

Kujović explains that he did it in order to "protect the public interest and himself" and claims that the Municipal Police service "has been in an acting state for three years, and is under the baton of staff who do not meet the requirements for that position".

"The judge of the Special Division of the High Court in Podgorica handed down a conviction for the President of the Municipality and thereby confirmed that I was removed from the position of Chief of the Municipal Police for purely political reasons, in a violent manner, without caring about the letter of the law. "After that, I am pleased by the fact that the administrative inspection has announced its arrival, during which it will carry out a detailed control and organization of local government services," Kujović's announcement reads.

He says that "Bulatović, after committing the criminal offense of abuse of official position and grossly violating the competences determined by the Law on Local Self-Government, did not even try to prevent further violations of the law and at least show part of the responsibility".

"He shifts the responsibility for his illegal actions to his associates and thus continues where he left off." Wanting to protect the public interest, as well as myself, from the arrogant behavior of the President of the Municipality, I was forced to turn to the administrative inspection, in order to determine all the omissions in his work. For Bulatović, apparently, the regulations don't exist or he hasn't even read them yet, not even the basic ones, which he should use every day in the performance of his duties," claims the former head of the Kolasin Municipal Police.

Kujović announces the filing of criminal charges against all responsible persons.

This will be done, he explains, "if the administrative inspection this time, like in 2019, "sees through all the illegalities". ".

"The arrogance and arrogance of the Kolasin government is reflected at every step. Since the constitution itself, the President of the Municipality, along with other officials, do not respect the regulations but behave arbitrarily. The entire process that I led, I did not lead out of personal interests, but so that the public would be aware of how those who perform public functions should not behave. Everyone must show respect for the law by their own example, and not at all contrary to it. That's why I expect that the competent institutions, without any pressure, will do their work conscientiously and honestly", says Kujović.
