The Institute for Public Health (IJZ) announced today that music festivals cannot be entered without a COVID certificate, and that neither they nor the Ministry of Health have ever offered festival organizers rapid tests.
They said that in view of the music festivals that have been announced in the upcoming period, they are reminding the organizers that access to visitors is allowed if they meet one of the four conditions from the National COVID Certificate.
"Proof that the person has been fully vaccinated or that he has received at least the first dose of the vaccine or a negative result of a PCR test that is not older than 72 hours or a positive result of a PCR test that is older than 14 and not older than 180 days or a negative rapid antigen test BAT that is not older than 48 hours. At the same time, in order to prevent the spread of misinformation, the Institute for Public Health of Montenegro, as well as the Ministry of Health, have never offered testing services with rapid antigen tests to any of the organizers of such events. Each of the organizers of any festival has been told that we are ready , to specifically organize epidemiological teams for their visitors, which, at a time and place that suits them, would carry out immunization," the IJZ press release states.
They added that they once again call on the organizers of all music festivals to respect the prescribed rules under which they can organize them, and the Directorate for Inspection Affairs to, in accordance with the possibilities, focus its capacities on control and sanctioning in case of violation of the current measures in the fight against the coronavirus .
"IJZ, as before, remains ready for direct communication with all organizers of all festivals in order to hold the planned events in accordance with the applicable rules," the announcement concludes.
