Data on cargo traffic in the Free Zone of the Port of Bar are kept in a dice notebook, the head of the Expert Team of the Anti-Corruption Council, Vanja Ćalović Marković, announced today.
Ćalović Marković and the Vice-President of the Government of Montenegro Dritan Abazović held a high-level press conference of the National Council for the Fight against Corruption in the old Government building, the topic of which was the "Bar-Boljare Highway".
Speaking about yesterday's visit to Luca Bar, Ćalović Marković pointed out that she had never seen the kind of archive that exists in that company in her life, stating that electronic records should be introduced tomorrow.
As she said, she went to the Port of Bar in order to obtain data through the archive on what entered and what left the Free Zone.
"I found open cupboards with papers leaking out. There is no electronic archive in the 21st century," said Ćalović Marković.
She said that a huge amount of money passes through the Luke Bar free zone, which is why an electronic archive is urgently needed.
