Thanks to businessmen, citizens and an anonymous donor, funds were collected for the treatment of nine-year-old Aleksandar Nađ from Podgorica.
Aleksandar is currently undergoing treatment in Istanbul, at Acibadem Clinic.
The health care fund will pay for the treatment, but another 5.000 euros were needed for the cost of the stay.
"Thanks to the good heart of businessmen, citizens and the man who paid the missing 3.000 euros for Aleksandar and insisted on anonymity, my son Aleksandar has the means to continue his stay in Istanbul. Unfortunately, as we said, the disease has progressed and Aleksandar needs to go to another hospital as soon as possible. one operation and chemotherapy is also possible because the disease has affected his bone and is growing rapidly. As a mother, I have a great need to thank all the media, highlighting the great help of Vijesta. Thank you to everyone who published an appeal for my son, to all the people and businessmen who helped, especially to the wonderful man who called and asked how much money we needed to pay, wishing only to remain anonymous," said Aleksandr's mother, Dušica Schneider.
She also thanked Konstantina Vojinović from NGO Izvor života.
"I am happy when I see that in our country there are so many people who help with their hearts and in return only human thanks is enough. In case there is any money left over from Alexander's treatment, we will pay it all to someone who needs it at that moment," said the boy's mother .
