The Civic Alliance condemned the attacks on the director of the Center for Investigative Journalism Milka Tadić Mijović and the journalist of the independent daily "Vijesti" Jelena Jovanović, saying that it was another attack on the freedom of journalism in Montenegro.

"Unfortunately, attacks on journalists are alarmingly frequent, while in the meantime those responsible are not prosecuted, and authorities are not taking legal measures to protect them," the GA said on Twitter.
