On the occasion of the beginning of the school year, and on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on the Ecological State of Montenegro on September 30, the Parliament of Montenegro provided funds for the installation of billboards and ornamental plants that will decorate the ecological corner of the "Sutjeska" Elementary School in the coming period. .

The ecological corner of this Podgorica school, according to the director Predrag Jovović, is a space that will be used by the students of the ecological section in their work, and the opportunity for children to get to know the importance of ecology in the school's premises in this direct way is recognized by the director as an important form of exemplary acquisition of knowledge. .

"The donation from the Assembly is a really positive surprise and I am sure that it will benefit all the students of the school. Everything was realized in an extremely short period of time, and the very idea and realization is in line with our understanding that it is of key importance to develop environmental awareness among the youngest, in order to tomorrow, each individual will contribute to the protection of the environment by personal example, which will benefit the city, the state and some future generations," said Jovović.

In anticipation of the new school year, the President of the Assembly, Aleksa Bečić, previously pointed out that he is overjoyed that the distribution of textbooks has started and that every primary school student will receive free textbooks for the first time in the history of Montenegro, and reminded that this is an extremely important step in the framework of social policy. which stipulates that children up to the age of six receive child allowance.

As he said, this is just the beginning, while the goal is for all children to realize this right in the coming period.

"The first initiative I launched since I was elected as the President of the Parliament of Montenegro was that every child should get free textbooks and to return the children's allowance to children. We succeeded," Bečić said earlier.

The Assembly announced that Bečić was a student at the "Sutjeska" elementary school.
