Tip: Veljović and the others who were detained had no objections to the actions of the police

The Council for Citizen Control of Police Work announced that today their delegation "visited the Security Department (OB) Cetinje and visited all detained persons during today's interventions".

"The delegation of the Council spoke confidentially and directly with all 14 detained persons, including Veselin Veljović, the advisor to the President of Montenegro. None of them had any objections to the police's actions and actions towards them, as well as regarding the treatment in the official premises of the police," he points out. in the announcement of the Council.

They said that today in Cetinje they "performed observational and supervisory functions and monitored respect for human rights in the actions of the police".

"The council has already issued some evaluations on the behavior of the police, and tonight at 20:XNUMX p.m. on the occasion of the event in Cetinje, they will hold an extraordinary session," the announcement reads.

The delegation of the Council consisted of Zoran Čelebić, president, and members Aida Petrović and Aleksandar Mugoša.
