Two officers of the Air Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) refused the task - to make themselves available to the Police Directorate, Miodrag Bešović, director of the Directorate for Emergency Situations in the MUP of Montenegro, told Portal RTCG.
Bešović stated that all legal actions were taken against them in accordance with the law.
"As a reason for the refusal, they stated that there are no safety conditions for helicopter activity," he said.
Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral was enthroned yesterday in the Cetinje Monastery after being transported from Podgorica by military helicopter with Serbian Patriarch Porfiri.
