In the kindergarten "Duško Basekić" in Bijelo Polje, the first case of coronavirus was confirmed, in a child of the older nursery group, which is why the entire educational group was closed last Friday.
"At the same moment when a case of coronavirus was registered, we closed the group for 14 days, in order to prevent the spread of the infection", said the acting (acting) director of the kindergarten Dijana Kovačević, adding that in the meantime another group stopped working, because of the child whose parent infected.
"As a precaution, we sent the group home five days ago, and they can return immediately with a negative PCR test. Besides them, two teachers are also in isolation, since the beginning of the school year, one of them is positive for the coronavirus, and the other was in isolation because of the child, however, since yesterday she is also positive. Fortunately, none of them had contact with the kindergarten," she said.
Kovačević emphasizes that the situation is stable and that all precautionary measures have been taken, and states that teachers wear masks and visors, as do parents when bringing children, and says that disinfection is carried out regularly.
