The call centers of Montenegrin COVID clinics must remain available to citizens who come exclusively for symptoms of the coronavirus, and not, as is the case today, be busy all the time due to requests for testing citizens who do not have any symptoms of infection, the Ministry of Health announced.
They reminded that free PCR tests are available only to Montenegrin citizens who have been vaccinated with Sputnik V or Sinofarm vaccines for the purpose of traveling to countries that have not yet approved these vaccines.
They added that free rapid antigen tests are provided for media representatives attending events for which it is necessary to have one of the pieces of evidence from the National Digital COVID Certificate:
- that 14 days have passed since the second dose for vaccines given in two doses, that is, 14 days have passed since immunization with a vaccine given in one dose;
- That the person has a negative PCR test for Kovid-19 that is not older than 72 hours or a positive PCR test that is older than 14 and not older than 180 days;
- That the person has a negative rapid antigen test that is not older than 48 hours.
"We remind you that the latest measures aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus were adopted because the previous ones were not respected. Between introducing a curfew on the territory of the entire country or locking down certain cities, priority is given to immunization. We appeal to citizens not to call the COVID call centers if they don't have symptoms of the coronavirus, because that way those who need help are denied access to it quickly," the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
