Yesterday, Drobnjak, in Sava Kovačeviča Boulevard in Podgorica, while trying to prevent the DP from stealing a woman's purse, suffered knife injuries in the leg area. As announced by the MUP, after expressing their respect for Drobnjak's humane and brave act, Nuhodžić and Stojanović said that this action showed exceptional personal and professional dedication. "Firmly guided by the code of police ethics, Inspector Drobnjak showed that police officers, even when they are not on duty, are ready to put their lives at risk in order to fulfill the role for which they are recognized in the wider community, which is to protect citizens, provide them a peaceful, safe and secure life," Nuhodžić pointed out. He said that the frequent attacks on police officers in Montenegro in the last few years and their injuries while performing their duties indicate that judicial practice, that is, the punishments for these crimes must be much harsher. , appreciating the social importance and weight of the work that police officers perform, preserving public order and peace and the safety of all of us.
