A delegation of Romanian businessmen and managers of several organizations visited the Municipality of Kotor today with the aim of considering the possibility of economic cooperation and friendly exchange between Kotor and cities in Romania.

As announced by the Municipality of Kotor, the ambassador of Romania in Montenegro, Viorela Ardeleanu, informed about the initiative of the Romanian city of Craiova to establish a friendly exchange and cooperation with Kotor in fields of common interest, as well as that a dialogue has already started with the leadership of this city towards establishing of bilateral cooperation with Kotor.

"The meeting was attended by representatives of companies dealing with information technology and digitization, security, stone processing, agriculture, as well as representatives of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, who presented their business and discussed proposals for cooperation with representatives of local self-government," announced the Municipality of Kotor.

It is added that there are numerous opportunities for cooperation between cities in Romania and Kotor and that the establishment of bilateral relations and friendly exchanges will significantly facilitate cooperation in numerous fields.

The meeting was chaired by the vice-president of the Municipality of Kotor, Siniša Kovačević, and also attended by the vice-president of the Municipality Nebojša Ševaljević, the secretary of the Secretariat for the Protection of Natural and Cultural Heritage Bojana Petković, the coordinator of the Office for International Cooperation Jelena Stjepčević, the coordinator of the Office for International Projects Nađa Radulović, the president of the SO Kotor Maja Mršulja and the secretary of the Municipal Assembly Snežana Barba.

The President of the Municipality of Kotor, Vladimir Jokić, also received Ardelean on an official visit.
