Members of the Protection and Rescue Service (SZS) found, two hours after midnight, a group of Belgian tourists lost in the Biograd rainforest.
The search, as announced by the commander of the SZS Željko Darmanović, lasted from 23 pm on Friday, when they were informed through OKC that four Belgians, who got lost in the National Park (NP) Biogradska gora, asked for help.
"A ranger of the NP Biogradska gora and volunteer Nikola Darmanović went on the search with us. Thanks to the coordinates sent by the Belgians, we found them. "One of the tourists was sick and exhausted, so we also brought a stretcher to bring him to the parking lot next to Lake Biograd," announced Darmanović.
SZS again appealed to visitors to the National Park to follow the marked trails and not stray from them.
