Several families in Bijelo Polje have been suffering abuse and torture on the Internet for two years, as they claim, in the form of identity theft and use, privacy violations and hacking, sending vulgar and offensive messages through access to their phones and computers, i.e. social networks.
They say that they have turned to the officials of the Security Center in Bijelo Polje and the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje countless times, but, at least so far, no one in the state is able to protect them.
It all culminated recently when a minor was beaten in front of a school in Bijelo Polska - from a fake profile under his name on Instagram, the attacker received a message that he was going to be slaughtered.
"That young man came in front of the school and wrote a message to the boy to go outside, and he found out the truth only after the child was beaten," said the boy's mother.
To date, the police have not shed light on that case, justifying that they "sent the reports to the Prosecutor's Office", from where "Vijesti" received a reply that "no criminal charges were filed in this regard, but the police were ordered to collect the necessary data".
The victims say that they are outraged by the work of the police - because, as they claim, similar things still happen.
"They even told us from the Security Center - 'let it go, it's a fool,'" said one of the interlocutors of "Vijesti".
The perpetrator, they say, even days earlier, threatened the beaten boy, and then his close relative, who is of age, that "he is next, sending death threats."
"The imaginative perpetrator, among other things, accesses the profiles of fellow citizens and sends pornographic videos, threatening messages, messages to all contacts in the directory such as - 'it's urgent, call me', vulgar messages through restaurants that accept online orders. "Several times on social networks, by hacking profiles, he sent messages in which a person allegedly offers sexual services, along with the phone number of that person, opening their fake Instagram profiles", says the source of "Vijesti".
For understandable reasons, the names of these people are known only to the editorial office of "Vijesti", which had access to their profiles on social networks and copies of content sent from fake profiles.
Anxiety, insomnia, psychological problems of children and parents, discord in marriage and family, fear for their lives and the lives of their children, especially since the incident happened, are just some of the problems that families go through.
They explain that they are not sure who is the perpetrator of these acts, but they note that there are some indications for certain people...
That person or persons mostly send them pornographic videos, offensive and threatening contents within families, so that video material reaches from son or daughter to father, from father to daughters, from mother to sons, cousin to aunt and so on.
These people claim that they are on the verge of a nervous breakdown and that they cannot understand why a politician or a public figure is more important than the life of a minor:
"Because we all know that for this first group, the perpetrators are immediately found and punished".
One of the people from Bjelopolje said that all this "got to their throats" and that the hopelessness of his family has been going on for two years.
His wife says that she is afraid of bigger consequences, because as a product of someone's sick imagination, they started attacking minors.
"We are living a real hell. We no longer know what to do, nor who to turn to. This is general hopelessness", said Bjepoljka.
One of the interlocutors said that a message was sent from his Instagram profile that he orally satisfies men with a phone number, and that his mother does the same.
Some of the people of Bjelopolja said that they received messages and death threats, but also those full of profanity.
Bjepololjka, whose child was beaten, said that her ordeal started when the hacker, accessing her sister's Viber several times, followed the messages they exchanged, and then "turned on her" as well.
"In addition to the fact that my minor son was beaten because of him, he opened a fake profile in the name of another son, along with the news that he died with a photo, after which comments and condolences arrived," she said.
He adds that after learning about the children's names, he opened fake profiles for everyone in the family.
"Me and my older son were mostly targeted. He posted our phone numbers, how we offer oral satisfaction services. I had dozens of calls from people who thought we were doing it. He found out that I work in catering, and fake messages on Instagram started, even a fake Instagram profile, where he states that I and the boss offer the same services, along with our phone numbers," says Bjelopoljka.
She said that she felt uncomfortable, sad, hurt and helpless, especially because she went to the police countless times, without any results, even though they knew who it was.
She explains that after one post on her fake Instagram profile about offering sexual services, a neighbor also called.
"After a lot of harassment, my neighbor called me on the phone and said: 'What are you doing, bitch...'. I thought I was going to die, even though I explained what it was about," Bjepoljka said.
She said she was on the edge of strength and just wanted to restore peace to her family.
Her fellow citizen said that an unknown person had opened more than 30 fake profiles in the last 10 days, using his photo and phone number.
"Several times he sent me photos of pornographic content from a fake profile to my existing profile, and several times he sent various comments in my name on social networks, including some local portals. I had to change the number, because many people called me from the country and abroad, after he wrote that I 'perform sexual services'. Parents of underage boys even came to threaten me, because the hacker was sending them offensive content from a fake profile," he said.
It will be too late for action if someone gets killed
The restaurateur said that all those to whom this happens suffer mental pain and pointed out that these are terrible fractures, and that fears and problems can lead to suicide, especially since minors are not spared.
"Imagine when a message from the phone of the worker's son appears on a page that is followed by thousands of citizens, on which it is written: 'My mother is k...a, orally satisfying', along with her phone number," he said.
Police: We informed the Prosecutor's Office about everything
"Vijesta" was informed by the Police Administration that the officers of the Bijelo Polje Security Center have not filed any criminal charges in the field of cybercrime (pedophilia and child pornography, sexual abuse of children and adults, as well as for the crimes in which they appear elements of illegal use of the Internet).
A certain number of applications with collected notifications, they explained, were submitted to the competent state prosecutor's office in order to determine the existence of elements of a criminal offense.
They note that the qualification of the offense is within the competence of state prosecutors.
"Since the beginning of 2020, a certain number of reports have been submitted to the officers of the Bijelo Polje Security Center, which related to an open fake profile on social networks that sends messages of offensive content to citizens. In each specific case, the police collected notifications and informed the competent prosecutor's office with the allegations, to which, in the course of further proceedings, members of the police submitted the case files for inspection in order to determine whether the aforementioned actions constitute the elements of a criminal offense for which prosecution is undertaken ex officio. states from UP in the answer.
They point out that members of the Bijelo Polje police are aware of a case that could correspond to the description in the question, and that, acting on the report, the officers of the Bijelo Polje Security Center collected information and notified the competent prosecutor's office.
"Officials of the Bijelo Polje Security Center act according to their powers on all submitted reports, and undertake other actions and measures that are necessary in order to identify the perpetrators of criminal acts and misdemeanors.
According to the above, in certain cases, in order to establish all the facts and provide certain material evidence that is necessary, and in order to assess the persistence of the elements of the criminal offense and conduct the criminal proceedings, it is necessary to obtain certain orders in cooperation with the competent state prosecutor's office.
"For the execution of the obtained orders, it is necessary to hire officers who are professionally qualified to perform special, that is, professional tasks related to the above-mentioned issue and which require a certain amount of time to act," the police wrote in the response.
They state that the officers of the Bijelo Polje Security Center have taken all measures within their jurisdiction in order to identify so-called fake profiles, when there are legal requirements for this.
Prosecution: The police were ordered to collect data
As for the number of reports in which citizens claim that people are opening fake profiles, one criminal report was handed over to the ODT from the ODT from Plav, according to the answer of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje.
