Minister of Finance and Social Welfare Milojko Spajić announced on Twitter that in the United States (USA) he met with the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, Elpidophorus, as well as with the bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), Eastern American Irinej and Midwestern American Longinus.
"Finally, Montenegro is not only in words, but also in deeds in the West. All human, religious, etc. rights will be respected as much as possible. Montenegro sends a strong message of common values with the USA and rejoices in our accelerated economic connection, it was concluded in the conversation with the American archbishop Elpidophorus and bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Eastern American Irinej and Central American Longinus," Spajić wrote on Twitter.
Previously, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America announced on their website that Elpidofor met with Spajić.
