On the order of the Minister of Health, Jelena Borovinić Bojović, and after personal conversations with several patients or their family members, a sanitary control of the Bar General Hospital is being carried out today, without prior notice, the Ministry of Health announced.
"In the inspection are the teams of the Institute for Public Health of Montenegro (IJZCG), the Committee for Intrahospital Infections of the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) and the sanitary inspector. It was requested that smears be performed on the Intensive Care Unit, Surgery and Gynecology", it is emphasized in announcement of the Ministry of Health.
The announcement adds that the public will be informed in detail about the findings of the IJZCG, KCCG and the sanitary inspector.
"The Ministry of Health previously sent the Commission for Quality Control to OB Bar with the aim of investigating in detail the case of the death of a woman in labor who, after an operation in Bar, died in KCCG. On this occasion, an external, independent commission will be formed to report on this case At the same time, the Minister of Health will request the opinion of the Forensic Medical Board of the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica. The Ministry of Health once again asks the public to refrain from any judgments until the final outcome of internal and external controls." they said from the Ministry of Health.
