Meeting between Kovačević and Božović: Cinema equipment in the Nikšić Theater will be digitized

The cinema equipment in the Nikšić theater will be digitized, it was agreed at the meeting between the president of the Municipality of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, and the director of the Film Center of Montenegro, Aleksandra Božović.

By digitizing the equipment, as announced by the office of the municipal president, the Nikšić theater could offer the highest quality films within its film production.

"It is especially important to note that the relevant Secretariat will be the initiator of a meeting of all cultural institutions in Montenegro in order to select the programs that will be presented in Novi Sad, which will be the European cultural capital, in 2022. This will be an excellent opportunity and for cultural institutions from our city to present programs from their own production outside the Montenegrin borders", the announcement of the Municipality of Nikšić states.

At the meeting, as stated, topics were discussed that are significant for the additional affirmation of Nikšić as the cultural center of Montenegro.

"They also discussed the possibilities of more significant valorization of the City Fortress Bedem, and it was concluded that this beautiful location will be the center of numerous cultural activities in the coming year, especially in the summer months," the announcement reads.

In addition to Kovačević and Božović, the head of the Cabinet of the President of Nikšić Municipality, Marko Perućica, the Secretary of the Secretariat for Culture, Sports, Youth and Social Welfare of the Municipality, Dejan Ivanović, directors of Nikšić Theater, Zahumlje, Museum and Gallery and National Library "Njegoš" attended the meeting. Radinko Krulanović, Dr. Miodrag Čizmović, Vesna Todorović and MSc Bojana Obradović.
