The Government of Montenegro has formed a working group that will consider the possibilities for responding to the humanitarian crisis and possible capacities for receiving a limited number of refugees from Afghanistan.
The task of the Working Group will be to consider the possibilities for responding to the humanitarian crisis and possible capacities for receiving a limited number of refugees from Afghanistan, in accordance with the practice of other NATO members that were engaged in Afghanistan.
The working group can, upon invitation, hire a representative of the Red Cross of Montenegro to consider the possibility of providing assistance in the event of the eventual reception of refugees from Afghanistan.
The head of the working group is the acting director general of the General Directorate for Bilateral Affairs and Economic and Cultural Diplomacy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Čedomir Fuštić.
Members of the Working Group are Director of the Directorate for Security Policy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Dijana Tući, Director of the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jelena Milačić, first secretary in the MFA Velimir Šljivančanin, acting general director of the Directorate for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners in the Ministry of the Interior Miroslav Zeković, head of the Directorate for Asylum in the Ministry of the Interior Irena Rakočević, head of the Department for Foreigners and Suppression of Illegal Migration in the Ministry of the Interior Dejan Andrić , head of the Working Group for negotiation chapter 24 Majda Adžović, independent adviser in the Directorate for Social Welfare and Child Protection in the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare Budimirka Đukanović and independent adviser in the Directorate for Social Welfare and Child Protection in the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare Jovana Radifković.
