The Government's Vocational Training Program is a great support for reducing unemployment, and at the same time an opportunity for young people to gain their first professional experience, and for employers to recognize staff who fit into their organizational team and prepare them for full involvement in their company, she assessed. Director of Human Resources at Telenor Biljana Radusinović.

Telenor, as a responsible and desirable employer, is also participating in this year The government's professional training program, with the aim of finding quality personnel who want to learn and develop in a corporate environment with a highly developed business culture and expertise.
"This year, Telenor is opening its doors to as many as 18 university students in various organizational areas of our company, predominantly from the Faculty of Economics (Marketing, Management, Financial Management...), as well as the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Applied Computers, Faculty of Mathematics, and other related natural and social sciences. ," said Radusinović.
She said that in that company they are extremely satisfied that they have the opportunity to provide support to young people who bring new ideas and who are the foundation of the future development of Montenegrin society.
"We believe that it is necessary for young people to find a place at the beginning of their career so that they have the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge, working with professionals in our company. That's why we invite interested university graduates to join our successful team," said Radusinović.
Through this program in previous years, a large number of university graduates took their first professional steps in Telenor, some of whom are still part of our team today.
"The program helped us and enabled us to get quality higher education staff, to monitor and encourage the development of these young people at the beginning of their professional careers and to be convinced of their potential, which made it easier for us to make decisions regarding the selection of the best. In accordance with our needs, we have retained trainees who have chosen to improve their skills with us, first of all in advanced technologies, which is of great importance for the overall Telenor activity," said Radusinović.
She explains that education and the economy cannot do without each other, and that they need to be further harmonized.
"So that business representatives could be significantly more involved in higher education programs, which would contribute to the modernization of teaching and greater student satisfaction, and on the other hand, in this way, the companies themselves would find quality staff more easily," said Radusinović.
When selecting employees, in addition to the professional knowledge required for a certain position, Radusinović points out that it is very important for them at Telenor that the candidates can fit into the value system and business culture that they are extremely proud of at Telenor.
"Be curious - Be respectful, Keep promises, Be practical - Be pragmatic. These are the values that adorn our employees, and we expect that from future candidates as well," pointed out Radusinović.

In Telenor, they regularly monitor the interests of employees through monthly surveys, so that, Radusinović explains, they can recognize their wishes and needs in time and respond to them in a timely manner.
"It is extremely important to us how each individual employee feels. They are our greatest value, and that is why we carefully analyze the benefits we offer, which motivate them and influence engagement, and on the other hand, make it easier for them to maintain the best possible work-life balance," said Radusinović.
Radusinović points out that the new reality that arose as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic taught them a lot, although in Telenor even before the outbreak of the epidemic, they encouraged work from home and flexibility and were technically equipped for such a way of working.
"For years, we have been building an organizational culture based on trust, initiative and responsibility, which has maintained productivity, although additional efforts had to be made so that employees could maintain a balance between private and business life in the new conditions of working from home. What we emphasize in the new circumstances is how to increase the flexibility of both employees and entire teams, so that employees can adapt as easily as possible to the changed business circumstances, not only in our country but in the whole world, so that we all preserve the most important human values together." said Radusinović.
