The public enterprise for national parks of Montenegro is determined to stop poaching and all illegal activities in the areas of national parks, said director Jelena Kljajević.

"It is an opportunity to point out that supervisor Jovan Bogavac from the Biogradska Gora National Park Protection Service did everything he could and showed the greatest degree of responsibility and courage, bearing in mind that he confronted the poachers who committed this crime unarmed," Kljajević said. .
She believes that for the purpose of quality management of protected areas, more significant financial support of the entire state system in the field of nature protection is necessary
"We appeal to the competent institutions to provide adequate financial resources for better working conditions for all employees in this public enterprise. On this occasion, we remind you that the salaries of employees in JPNPCG are not harmonized with the coefficients of other state entities in the public sector, and we expect that the state will find an adequate solution in this direction Kljajević pointed out.
