The President of the Municipality of Tuzi and the leader of the Albanian Alternative, Nik Đeljošaj, assessed that it would be a bad message if the director of Hydroelectric Power Plant (HE) Piva, Radomir Radonjić, remained in office, after he sent insults to the Albanian people and Force President Genci Nimanbegu via social networks.
Đeljošaj told TVCG that today "we have a catastrophic situation" in which a public official insults peoples, religious communities and deputies.
"He used so many derogatory words, that I wondered if it was possible that he still hasn't been fired. He has a superior, and if he didn't react...we can't just advertise. If some secretary in the Municipality of Tuzi behaved like that in public according to anyone, he wouldn't stay in that position for two minutes," said Đeljošaj, as reported by the RTCG portal.
It is a bad message, he says, if he were to remain in office.
"Sanctions, 20 percent of the salary, that is something that is miserable, considering what the public official wrote, or said, and unfortunately thinks. Because what he thinks, he wrote, and probably transfers it to employees, family, society and we have to prevent that," said Đeljošaj.
All MPs to support the removal of the government
Speaking about the political situation in Montenegro, he said that it would be logical and moral for the initiative to replace the current government to come from all members of the Montenegrin parliament, in order to leave a deadline for a possible agreement on a new or transitional government.
He said that the majority of citizens and MPs believe that the current political situation in Montenegro is not sustainable.
He said that they are ready to support the initiative to replace the government, if it is initiated by the Democratic Front (DF).
"They haven't started it and I honestly don't understand why they haven't done it until now. They've had so much humiliation from this government, it's unbelievable. Honestly, I could never put up with what they've put up with this government without starting a matter of trust," said Đeljošaj.
Stating that he is sure that the citizens did not vote for this kind of government, Đeljošaj said that perhaps it was necessary to have this kind of government.
"I think it is now below the level for a country that is a member of the NATO alliance to be represented by this kind of prime minister," Đeljošaj said.
Commenting on the epidemiological measures, he said that a compromise should be found between the measures and the economy, and that the best message is to get vaccinated.
"If we had been vaccinated, we would not be thinking about whether there will be an outdoor celebration today," said Đeljošaj.
