In the General Hospital in Bar, equipment was renewed

The director of the Bar General Hospital, Dr. Dragoslav Tomanović, announced that this health institution has acquired new diagnostic equipment worth 13.000 euros, and that work has begun at the hospital to improve the conditions for receiving patients. The internal department is already using the latest "Shiler" holter that monitors heart activity 24 hours a day, this department also received the latest defibrillator for transporting the most serious patients, and a pressure holter and computerized ergometry will also arrive.

Dr. Tomanović pointed out that the acquisition of Šiler's has greatly improved the diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of heart patients, and at the same time, there will no longer be a wait of several months for an appointment at the Clinical Center.

"In the next ten days, the reconstruction of the toilets in the surgical department will be completed. The bar company "Cerovo" donated toilet equipment worth about 8.000 euros, and the hospital is financing the works worth a total of about 10.000 euros. These toilets will be adapted to the needs of people with reduced mobility. Moram Moram point out that we also received a significant donation from the "Olimpik" hotel in Ulcinj, from where they sent us 150 "ambassador" blankets. As the General Hospital has 161 beds, that will be enough for us, because different blankets are used in the pediatric, gynecological and maternity departments. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all donors for their attention," added Dr. Tomanović.
