The Ministry of Health, the Directorate for Inspection Affairs and the Police Directorate will also this week, from Friday to Sunday evening, organize an action to increase control of compliance with prescribed epidemiological measures in all cities of Montenegro, with a special focus on Podgorica, Nikšić, Tivat, Budva, Herceg Novi, Berane. and Bijelo Polje, the Ministry of Health announced.
The announcement adds that the control on the ground will be managed by the Directorate for Inspection Affairs, with the assistance of the Police Directorate and in cooperation with the local self-government.
"A check of the possession of the National digital COVID certificate will be carried out in catering facilities and other places where a large number of people gather, as well as whether the measure prohibiting the organization of weddings and other family celebrations is violated. The Ministry of Health once again calls on businessmen and citizens to be responsible and to adhere to the prescribed epidemiological measures, first of all to protect the health of themselves and their closest relatives and the entire population," the announcement reads.
