At the elementary school "Savo Pejanović" in Podgorica, as part of the Student Forum on Wednesdays at 17 p.m., where well-known figures from the world of culture, art and sports are presented to the students, the writer Perivoje Popović spoke about his poetry for children and adults.

"And as a former student of this school, Popović gladly accepted the proposal to, among other things, present his collection of poetry for young people, debating with the students about literature, the mission of the writer in today's time and the need for students to write verses themselves, especially before the school will soon have an organized and poetic evening of student poets", the school stated.

Popović was born in Podgorica in 1950, published more than 30 books, completed his education at the Pedagogical Institute in Vienna and the "Winer Urania" University, was translated into several languages, and won numerous awards.
