Protest in Pljevlja, asking the authorities not to separate brother and sister

A group of citizens gathered this morning in Pljevlja, in front of the building of the Center for Social Work, asking the authorities not to separate the brother and sister who, after their mother abandoned them, were placed in a foster family in that municipality.

Among those gathered, signs can be seen: "Pljevlja for children", "Stop separating brother and sister", "I will not live without my brother, do not separate us from one flock"...

The Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare announced yesterday that they have formed an expert team that will review the actions of all competent authorities in the case of the foster family in Pljevlja, and until the team's findings are made, all actions related to the case will be suspended.

The petition was previously signed by almost four thousand citizens in less than 24 hours.
