Graduates of the Vocational High School in Bijelo Polje donated blood

Graduates of the Vocational High School donated blood today in the rooms of the Transfusion Department in Bjelopolje.

The organizer of today's action is the NGO "KAN" from Bijelo Polje in cooperation with the OO Red Cross Bijelo Polje.

"This is an action that we traditionally organize, and we are very satisfied with the response. The students once again showed their humanity and presented the Secondary Vocational School in the right way", said the president of the NGO "KAN" Nikola Simović.

The coordinator of the municipal Red Cross, Mašan Živković, said that they are ending 2021 in the most beautiful way, when it comes to, as he says, voluntary blood donation.

"It gives me pleasure when I see these young people who are the future of voluntary blood donation. I would like to thank everyone who donated blood today, and I would like to praise the work of the NGO "Kan" and the Vocational High School, because it is the sixth time that we are conducting the action together. I thank all the voluntary donors because they donated the liquid that means life, and I hope that in the coming year we will have the same, but also a larger number of those who voluntarily donate blood," emphasized Živković.

The president of the DDK Club, Vlado Tomović, praised the humanity and solidarity of the young people who today donated the liquid that means life, and with today's action called on everyone to follow this example, which shows that the young people of our city are ready to help whenever needed.

"It's a good feeling knowing that I may have saved someone's life. I will always, when I have the opportunity, respond with actions like this," said Alda Hadžibegović, a student of the Vocational High School.
