This was announced by the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, who on the occasion of Christmas sent a congratulatory message to Archbishop Rok Đonlješaj of Bar, Bishop Ivan Štironja of Kotor, all citizens of the Catholic faith and clergy, wishing them to celebrate the happiest day in peace and tranquility together with their families, loved ones and friends. in Christianity, the day of Christ's birth.
Đukanović also states that Christmas permanently encourages us to nurture the universal values of Christian teaching, that only through harmony, understanding and mutual respect can we continue to build a healthy and prosperous society, based on our imperishable historical heritage and contemporary European values that we inherit in Montenegro.
