The marine welfare organization organized three-day workshops for endemic species and a bird-watching competition in "Tivatski Solil"

The public enterprise for the management of marine assets of Montenegro, as part of the project "Endemic pathway - Put endema" abbreviated "ePATH", which is implemented as part of the cross-border cooperation program Croatia - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Montenegro 2014-2020, organized a three-day workshop for endemic species and natural heritage, as well as a three-day Birdwatching Competition in the special nature reserve "Tivatska Solila".

During the first day, children from the kindergarten "Osmjeh" from Kotor participated in the workshops, where we learned about plants and birds, drew, painted and made plasticine figures, and at the end enjoyed yoga in nature and the folklore program of the FA "Nikola Đurković" from Kotor.

On the second day of the workshop on the natural and cultural values ​​of Solil, we mingled with visitors from Elementary School "Branko Brinić" from Radović, Kindergarten "Pinokio" from Podgorica, Elementary School "Sutjeska" from Podgorica, as well as Ju Gymnazija Kotor. During their stay at Solili, all those present discovered the interesting world of insects, watched birds and competed in species recognition, while the youngest guests entertained them with games, songs and recitations.

In parallel with these activities, a meeting of project partners was held in the assembly hall of the Municipality of Tivat, in which representatives of relevant institutions from Montenegro also participated, and at which project activities were presented, including the developed mobile application as well as a presentation on climate change", announced the JP. On the last day at Tivat's Solili, as they said, they hosted children from the "Vini pu" kindergarten from Budva. ptica and high school students from JUSMŠ "Danilo Kiš" from Budva participated. Considering that the third day was the end of the bird watching competition, the expert jury made up of ornithologists did the scoring, after which a ranking list was formed for both categories - amateurs and professionals.

In the amateur category, first place was won by Anja Pinjatić, second by Strahinja Vujačić, and third by Marina Mišković, while in the professional category, first place was won by ornithologist Miloš Mitkić, and second by Tijana Mitkić, they point out in Morski Dobr.

The continuation of these workshops and competitions will be organized in the next year 2022 as part of the "Endemic Path - ePATH" project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro.
