Luka Bar donated equipment worth 60.000 euros to the Health Center

The Port of Bar AD donated equipment worth 60.000 euros to the Health Center in Bar, the Ministry of Health announced.

The announcement adds that it is a gynecological ultrasound machine, a delivery table and a device for electrotherapy.

"In this way, the therapeutic procedure of physiotherapy, i.e. physical therapy, has been completed. On the other hand, an extremely valuable and important donation relates to an ultrasound machine for gynecology that will be used by the Bar Health Center, and the delivery table will be handed over to the Bar General Hospital, i.e. the gynecology department ", explained the Minister of Health, Jelena Borovinić Bojović.

She, as added in the statement, "thanked the director and the Board of Directors of Luke Bar and invited all other socially responsible companies that have similar opportunities to invest in the healthcare system of our country."

"My main intention is to improve the public health of Montenegro to the maximum and improve the quality of health services for all citizens of Montenegro, regardless of where they live or where they are," the Minister of Health emphasized.

The director of DZ Bar, Vuk Vujović, said that today's donation could be the envy of larger hospitals.

"In this way, we raise the quality of primary health care services to a higher level," said Vujović.

The executive director of Luka Bar, Ilija Pješčić, announced that this company will continue to help the health system and other entities in the city.

The president of the Board of Directors, Slađana Perišić, expects that, thanks to this donation, DZ Bar will perform its tasks more easily and efficiently.
