The Board of Directors of the University of Montenegro (UCG) noted today at its session the termination of the internal audit at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education in Nikšić, during which, among other things, it was determined that non-governmental organizations of the former president and member of the Board of Directors Duška were financed from the account of that university unit. Auditor Predrag Radunović said today at the meeting of the Supervisory Board that the aforementioned audit was planned in the annual plan for 2021 and that the fraud indicator was established on two grounds. He pointed out that the interruption is related to the payment of awards, and the other reason is the financing of NGOs founded by units of the UCG.

Radunović said that it is disputable that the rulebook on rewards has been changed 11 times. He explained that in 2019, the article of the Ordinance on citations was changed, in such a way that they are paid from 2018, which, he claims, is unconstitutional.

He also said that all five amendments to the rulebook from 2019 to 2021 have a retroactive effect and that all payments on that basis are unconstitutional.

The President of the UCG Board of Directors, Rajka Glušica, said today after the session that they have not yet received the Government's decision on the appointment of the parish priest of Nikšić, Nikola Marojević, as a new member of the Board of Directors.

She said that his appointment, after receiving the decision, will be on the agenda of the session of the Board of Directors.
